Why learn to play percussions?

Percussion instruments are very diverse and different from each other. If a piano player, violinist etc. has to learn one instrument, then percussionist has the opportunities to learn more than 3000 percussions! Of course in music school there are taught the basics to get you started- marimba, drums etc.

When playing percussions each player can show their own musical taste, and style, it is a very expressive instrument. Each individual can play part of a group , ansamble or part of an ochestra, because percussions are used across many genres of music.

It is important to note that playing percussions advances coordination, memory and other parts of the brain.

From percussions it is possible to learn the smallest nuances in music and express your own individual thoughts and emotions!
